Our Sunday sermon was rearranged after the Midnight Special in 1974. Huntsville… We all half died when our preacher started describing what he saw… We got it. We knew this was all about a great time. The adults were scared. We just wanted it LOUD. GREAT parents and preachers. WE even turned out ok. NOW……. KISS Come play for us ……Occasionally.

Yeah. Vinyl, 8 track and cassette. Totally shredded. Could never get it loud enough. Before I moved from Huntsville, the last night I was happy as a teenager, went to sleep listening to ALIVE on headphones. To this day, I still try and get that feeling. BUT, life turned out AWESOME. BUT……. I hope somehow they make this happen again. I heard the “ Garden” is quiet these days……

All these years later, I forgot exactly when this was recorded. I can tell you this much though. It was in Detroit at Cobo Hall. Now, the band did not just play a one-night stand in Detroit. One of their concerts was choreographed for the Kiss Alive! album. And this is the one that I remember.

Was Gene Simmons a drinker back in the early to mid 70s, before Shannon came with Nick and Sophie? In the 2000s, I loved his family show on A&E. People here in the south couldn't wait to get out of Sunday Evening Services to see Gene Simmons on TV with the family! By the way, Mr. Simmons is good friends with President Donald Trump.
