Unmasked took a ton of flack after the Dynasty album was overshadowed by one song that angers fans. the Elder I believe was a bit of a misfire. Creatures is what Kiss should have done after Unmasked. Kiss spent almost five years experimenting. the silly made for tv movie, the over ambitious solo albums. dabbling in disco, power pop, and a concept album really alienated fans

And when KISS "buy" a song (Is That You?) and Paul is singing it with his Rockvoice than IT IS A REAL KISS SONG This is my way of thinking. But thank you anyway. 😊

@@HappyMachorino-bd8no the elders had a lot of problems. the produce was on drugs at the time, Ace wasn't exactly thrilled about the project. Eric had no say on the whole thing since he was not an original member. heck I wish they went ahead of did a an album with the four tracks they included in the Killers compilation album. don't get me wrong. Elders was a good album but fans hated it back then. Paul had admitted some regrets about the album in his book. I didn't mind taking risk but after a few blunders fans were moving on. the non make up era kind of save their asses. I was made for loving you off of Dynasty turned alot of die hard fans off. the reason why I believe elders was a misfire was it was a mess of a project behind the scene wise. fans didn't like it until like a decade or so later when the fans began to give another second or third shot at it. same with Unmasked.

I loved his alive III style. He kicked ass, making the live feel more modern and flashy but seriously grooving still. I wonder if he was told to go more basic Peter style later on or if he made that move himself. I think he’s my favorite Kiss drummer but, yeah, he changed later on. I just watched live Badlands clips and damn was he on fire.

I think Eric Singer is great, but he messes this one up completely. The original drum track by Anton Fig is so much stronger. Eric keeps the pace/rythm here, but that's about it.
