@farshnuke well, she'll live forever, and if he wants to, he can join her for the better part of eternity. Considering that they're probably married, this could be the Doctor's version of a retirement plan. Who knows? He may even turn the planet into a TARDIS afterward so that they can continue exploring the galaxy and helping people. Though he'd obviously need the library's permission and would have to find a way to prevent those parasites from spreading as a result of their travels.

Not time crossed. Time crossed relies on the couple approaching each other from opposite directions in time. That is very creepy and very definitely not what is going on with the Doctor and River Song since A. Their relationship has never been so linear and B. They are both time travellers travelling in space and other dimensions. Time gave up and walked home long ago. Time crossed lovers would be two people living in the same world for the same amount of time only one travels in reverse.

Lovely, lovely video--well, I like the song, and the Doctor seems to match up well with River--and now, apparently, seems to me like the Doctor wanted River to kiss him almost as much as she wanted him to kiss her, or something. And the last clip seems poignant, with the TARDIS, Doctor, and Amy Pond all alone on the shore.
