Belle and Haneul are not HYBE and SM trainees; this was a rumour. Belle clarified in an interview that she did use to work for SM, as a songwriter, but she debuted after a year of training in S2. Haneul was asked by a fan on a video call whether she was a HYBE trainee; after a moment of surprise, she denied it.

loved watching you guys do this deep dive, kiof are my current obsession! about haneul's story, in the beginning it shows that while she has an outgoing personality when recording videos in her bedroom, she's actually a shy and quiet kid at school. no one at school knows that she's been posting videos online, so people just don't really talk to her because she tends to keep to herself. however, one day, she comes to school not knowing that one of her videos has gone viral (at least amongst the people at her school). she thinks that everyone is judging her, and maybe some people are, but the girls in her class were actually supportive and wanted to get to know her after seeing this other side of her online! it can be interpreted as the girls only taking interest in her after she becomes "popular," but as someone who is also a pretty shy and quiet kid at school, sometimes finding that one thing in common (for them it was dancing and social media/wanting to be an influencer if you see the other girls dancing in the beginning) is what breaks the ice and helps people open up.

about the bad news and nobody knows mvs, i'm sure you got the basic message, but it's criticism on how people make false accusations and assumptions before knowing the full story (especially in idol controversies). bad news makes the girls look like the villains, while nobody knows shows that they were acting in self defense or defending others. it's definitely over the top, but i think it's just to emphasize that contrast of perception and perspective. i love the whole born to be xx album, i've had it on repeat since it came out, and they sound so good performing all of the songs live!

Julie solo is my favorite, and to me is the best song, 'cause I love that rap and hip hop vibe, it's sad not everybody like it, 'cause is so good

The Korean word for "shh!" is "swit". If you look at the lyrics written in Hanguel, they are saying "swit", which is how they get away with it. It's a bit like Jennie singing "b!tch I'm solo" but she's really saying "bich nan solo" which means "I'm shining solo". (Jisoo says "swit!" in the Blackpink song Whistle -- if you rewatch the video you'll see it. She even does the finger on the lip move.)

"Play Love Games" is Take Me Out the Ballgame :) I don't disagree with you that Kitty Cat isn't the best song ever (though I do strongly prefer it to Love Games) but it is basically a b-side with a video. They're from a tiny agency and don't have a ton of money for the best songwriters and producers. If you think of the song as a b-side I think it's easier to be gentle with it. I think they'll just keep getting more and more songwriters and producers interested in working with them and the music will keep getting better. I think they're a bit like Mamamoo -- incredibly talented, from a small agency that never put out a group before, hard working, getting buzz, and growing quickly. Let's hope that they have success like Mamamoo's or even better! :)

Yeah I noticed it's hard to compare groups that are on larger labels to the smaller ones but I think the smaller ones have a passionate fan base that's for sure!
