if you check out any of their live stage performances, their live vocals are just as amazing! looking forward to you listening to the album and eventually reacting to their debut songs!! i think it’s interesting that you already knew the girls were justified in what they were doing from the bad news mv because the majority of reactions i’ve watched really didn’t understand why they were doing the things they did (i’m sure they just didn’t see the little pieces of context in the bad news mv, which is ironic). some reactors still questioned if the girls should’ve acted the way they did even after watching nobody knows because they thought they were a little extreme. it just goes to show that even when standing up for yourself or for others, you will still be criticized. i could go on and on about the mvs message haha, there are so many layers to analyze. just to mention one, we see haneul is punished to pick up trash outside but not the actual bully due to her dad’s power to influence the school, showing how school bullies often don’t face the punishment they deserve)

it's fascinating to hear that other reactors think that they weren't justified... I do wonder if some of the themes were meant to also criticize how women's defense of themselves is often not seen as justifiable (they shouldn't have dressed that way if they didn't want attention, they should learn to appreciate what they have, a man is "tough" and "protective" while a woman is "overreactive" and "crazy", etc.) and a lot of people watching may have unfortunately may have fallen into that trap... very interesting.

Interesting take. I'm the opposite as I love this song musically so much more compared to Bad News but this might be because I just love that groovy, soulful vibe of sound. It just makes me bop as an instinctive response and I love that LMAO I really love how first chorus was just clean then seconds chorus had Belle harmonizing and then the last chorus she just goes off 😭
