Some ghouls have been there for a pretty long time too. I believe the singer that does the backing vocals has been the same for all their albums. For the guitarists, bassist, drummer and keyboardists it’s a little harde to recognize them, because they never really talk and of course they always wear their masks, but I think one of the guitarist has been the same since the beginning of the band, or a least for a long time. But these are all just theories though....

I was into a lot of metal when I heard about Ghost, like 8 years ago, I thought they were super heavy, but when I found out they weren't I passed on them. Now that I'm not just in one genre, I gave a try to Mary On A Cross and OMG I fell in love with them. I'm a fan for about 3 months. Lesson learned: The fact that something sounds different doesn't make it bad.

What I love baout this is that you have to give big props to the nameless ghoul's backing vocals during their performances. They're always so good. Also just how each person is so expressive even behind the masks. Even when they all join hands you can feel the different personalities. Top quality performances all around

I agree 100 % ! I was hoping someone else mentioned this. Their harmonies are always spot on. I love their energy! They are absolutely professional yet they have loads of fun on stage. And we are lucky enough to witness it. I think they are in the top 1% of stage bands out today. And the theatricality is perfect! It's not campy but still fun. Some bands take themselves way to seriously when they break out. And I belive that's why so many bands break up.

It's why they do it. Other bands may do concerts to sell records. Ghost sells records to draw a big enough audience to be able to do arena concerts. Arena rock concerts has been the passion of the front man/band leader since he was a little boy. ...And today 2022, they're really, really big.

Seen them live in Poland in Feb 2020 just before Covid outbreak and even though I had to go to the other end of my country to do so and then travel back during a cold winter I regret nothing. I really like it when Tobias plays with the guitarists behind them, and then in front, he claps his hands lol. It's really funny, also when the two guitarists joke with each other it's nice. I think this is only possible and fun to see, due to the use of masks, since they are more comfortable on stage. They are brutal and perfect at what they do, and happy. Top of the Galaxy!!! I mean hell, they went from Rats on the Road, to a Pale Tour Called Death, the added Europe dates, to touring with Metallica, and right back to the US for The Ultimate Tour Named Death. They've been going almost nonstop since May of 2018. Forge already confirmed there won't be another tour until 2021, with 2020 being reserved for working on and releasing the next big studio album.

These are the PERFECT songs for an encore, hope they never change it! Kiss the Go-Goat just has great harmonies in the Pre-Chorus and is great for singing along - Dance Macabre is a f*cking good upbeat song - and Square Hammer is the most powerful banger one can imagine. There's kind of an increasing dynamic in these 3 songs that I cannot describe: These fluid transitions between the songs with drum rolls and fog, konfetti and lighting on point - it's just fantastic. And the end with the gold sparkles and white light is soooo epic - the whole setup is a masterpiece!
