I remember hearing this song like a long time ago. My ex broke up with me in person on a rainy day for no good reason, he just told me he's tired of me now and wants to date someone else. And it started raining harder and I just ran away feeling heart broken. When I got home, I listened to Kiss the rain to calm myself down and it helps! I'm glad I forgot all about my ex and started a fresh new start. :) God bless Yiruma

In the future, I hope people will still listen to this kind of music. Especially this man right here. Many years have already passed when I made this comment. People passed away, babies being born. Cherish this kind of music till you get older because this will be with you as you grow. This is the kind of music that will make you feel emotional. Time flies doesn't it? I want you to remember the times you had with your family whether they are alive or not. Remember those moments? All happy and joyful. As you grow, remember to love your family because when it's their time, you will never have a 2nd chance to meet them. Love, a child in the 6th grade 10/23/2017

16 de Noviembre 2022, volviendo de nuevo a esta melodía. Si hubiera algo intangible pero real que alcanzara a tocar el alma, seria esta música. I often close my eyes And I see you smile You reached out for my hand And I'm woken from my dream Although your heart is mine It's hollow inside I never had your love And I never will Chorus And every night I lay awake Thinking maybe you love me Like I've always loved you But how can you love me Like I loved you when You can't even looked me Straight in my eyes I've never felt this way To be so inlove To have someone there Yet feel so alone Aren't you supposed to be The one to wipe my tears The one to say that you would never leave me The waters calm and still My reflection is there I see you holding me But then you disappear All that us left of you Is a memory One that only exist in my dream Repeat chorus I don't know what hurts you But I can feel it too And it just hurts so much To know that I can't do a thing And deep down in my heart Somehow I just know That no matter what I'll always love you So why am I still here in the rain..........

This is my first time to see Yiruma live on a you tube and playing Kiss the Rain. I am a piano teacher but I have not played this song. I had 2 students who played Kiss the Rain and one will be graduating from college this spring. The other one will be graduating from high school or maybe it was his older sister who finished it before. It is great to watch Yiruma's expression in his eyes when closed and his eyebrows. It is beautiful!! Also, many of my students have played River Flows in You at my recitals , the easy version and a few played the original version. You are so gifted !!!!!
