a friend of my mine absolutely adored Katie and her book was falling apart with notes and lighted sentences. Eventually i decided to start reading her blog (Katie's)..dear my this girl is something else. Her wisdom, her trust in God is almost contagious. And in these interviews she seems so nice and far from scared or nervous. She's an inspritation and God is truly using her.

Katie has done a great work, she lives in one of Ugandans nicest towns with great coffee shops, restaurants, iPhones and much more . She is truly a mom to these girls but by law will not be legally allowed to ADOPT the girls who are not near her age which is most of them(i. Any person of 25 years of age and above can adopt. However, the prospective adoptive parent must be at least 21 years older than the child.) I don't want people to go to Uganda thinking they can just go there and "adopt" a bunch of kids.

This guy interviewing this dear, beautiful, obedient young daughter of God seems to be completely unknowing as to what being a genuine, obedient child of God is about!!! As if being a prom queen etc is important!
@Eyerusalem_4 жыл бұрын
Well he is just stating the obvious which is a young lady like katie who has so many choices and opportunities in the American dream, Katie chose to follow her heart and what the lord put in her it’s only her who is able to explain it because this was brought from God and any other person would not understand it so he was trying to process the journey she took. Take it positively!

Katie is amazing and a true warrior for Christ. She is truly an inspiration to me. However, I find Gordon painful to listen to. His questions are beyond goofy and pointless which parallels his wincing attempt of humor. It's like watching the Rainman interacting with Einstein. Even though he was put in the position based on his bloodline, it would be better served to have him watch better anchors from his office than in front of a camera.

***** Good lord, I can't even say, your desperately clawing a straws, with that piss poor attempt at hating. ...imagine the sacrifices and opportunities she must have made. She practically was set for the high life, and now she in the middle of nowhere working her but off caring and supporting 14 kids in a harsh environment with terrible resources. If that's your definition of ego we all need one!

Please be honest and say that the girls are fostered or that you have legal guardianship since you have not legally adopted them in Uganda your love for the girls is beautiful but please call a spade a spade because saying you adopted them is a bit deceitful

I don't like the way he is talking to her. He keeps calling her a homecoming queen, like that is all she has to offer. The war on women is real folks. as a Christian woman, I would never allow him to speak that way to me. Of course she is here showcasing her ministry and and trying to get funding. still....
@Directorgeneral20328 жыл бұрын
Uganda has regions that are very developed and places that are not as developed just like the US. It's not about being a homecoming queen it's about obeying God and doing whatever God sets before us. No matter where we live Christ wants us to be totally dependent on Him.

Erica Barker I thought that there was something with me for feeling uncomfortable about his interview. Also, not letting her speak whenever she should have annoyed me.
@wendy___7776 жыл бұрын
Oh my. I was thinking the same. I have been on a CBN binge-watch the last few weeks. Gordan appears he does not listen which is evident when he asks a question, the question is answered, and then he asks the same question a different way. Also, he does not allow the speaker or his guests to complete their statement before he attempts to ask a follow-up question. Additionally, his questions appear to have a hint of doubt of what the speaker has said. And yes, continuing to call Katie “homecoming queen” was annoying. I am not sure if he is attempting to ask questions based on what he believes the typical audience would want to ask or want to know, or if he or the producers have a hidden agenda of sorts. In any case, Katie’s testimony and journey is a blessing in so many ways.
@wendy___7776 жыл бұрын
Anilove1 Nope, you’re fine. I felt the same way. Some of the interview questions are cringing to hear.
