I love that they named the purple Murasaki (which is purple in Japanese) but also a nod to the ancient female writer, Murasaki Shikibu, who wrote her first novel in the year 1010, “The Tale of Genji”. Anyway, I have this set, painted with it today! I love it.

I have never heard of Kissho Sumi Gansai. They are stunning. That purple (sumi murasaki) seems almost out of place with the other colors. Hello there, Miss Rosie! 🥰 The ASMR is next level in this video ending with the most satisfying tape peel ever. Your artwork is beautiful. These inks have a very old-school charm to them. I'm thinking like Raphael or Da Vinci.
