Kissing Crystals / How to make elegant and beautiful beaded earrings

This beading tutorial uses 4 mm bicone crystals and size 11 seed beads to make beautiful and elegant earrings. They have a rectangular shape that is tapered at both ends. This begins by making one unit of cubic right angle weave CRAW - FULL INSTRUCTIONS. The second step is finishing the ends with seed beads and more crystals than attaching the wire guards and ear wires.

Just about to make these for my mum for mother’s day tomorrow! She spied these a year ago and sending me the link with “please daughter” in reference to my “please mUm” when I need her help with sewing etc, works both ways, however mum is a purple fanatic and wanted the peridot swooped for tanzanite! ❤❤❤

lol you are correct! I have a passion for phoenixs always have, thing might reduce you to ash but never let the, win and always come back - Phoenix! Plus, I love red hair, hubby is a ginger and proud of it! I’m also Scottish and love the accents in Brave. Fro a time before I returned home to Scotland and before I met hubby, I lived elsewhere and I MISSED a the Scottish accents! For some reason Brave made me smile. Hubby and I also do archery as it’s a sport we can both do as I’m disabeld and so, Merida was an archer! She just clicked with me and the red hair jsut makes me think of a fiery Phoenix! 😊😊😊 cross Merida with Harry Potter and Arya (GOT) and Ghost (Johns Snows Wolf) and throw in a dusting of Phoenix and Dragaon, and of course a sprocker spaniel and you are pretty spot on 😂😂😂😂

How much do the materials in this earring cost? I.d., how much for the Bicones, are they Swarovski?

Hi, You would need 40 crystals to make a pair of earrings. So if you were making a solid color of earrings buying one strand of crystals would be more than enough and cost An average of 6 to 8 dollars ( Unless you were able to find a sale) Here are the colors I used Preciosa Turquoise 2xAB Peridot or peridot AB Labrador Half Coat Swarovski Blue zircon .
