Yep. I use it ascending and descending scales where there are odd numbered note groupings.

@@KHeavy damn how do you do that without losing articulation? I used to do that but then everything sounded like I was sweep picking. The pick "bite" between strings was gone.

@@1SmokedTurkey1 just lots of practice really. It sounds slightly different to alternate picking, but I can't alternate pick these runs cleanly so I just economy pick them.
