Quick note on the Amalee Shego thing is, if I remember correctly, I believe she asked people to not bring it up to her directly or in her chat anymore as she received a decent amount of harassment for it. I think it was a joke that went to far kind of thing. She may have changed her stance since then and I missed it, but just a friendly PSA to all watching the video: we can laugh about it now in hindsight, but dont be a dick to her about it, especially in her chat or comments.

Citation needed but I think she's fine with it now since the hate calmed down. Theres been a few times more recently where she brought it back up herself, I think in some of the streams where she's just chatting with other vtubers

@Styxen_Stones yeah and I only catch her streams sporadically so that's why I mentioned my information may be out of date. But also, still good to have a gentle reminder to have people not go into her stream and be weird about it. If she brings it up to joke that's great but I believe she had gotten comments about it constantly for months and at one point had to make a public post on Twitter about it being like "hey can you guys chill?" I can't find it now so not sure if that's because she deleted the post or because finding specific tweets on a timeline is impossible and that site UI is dogshit.

All of 2024 was the year of the VTuber for me. I had my formal introduction to all of this at the beginning of last year, and you and Bao were one of the first I started watching. Because of how much VTuber content I consumed over the last year, it’s really inspired and encouraged me to start preparing my own journey as a VTuber myself.
