@@catherinebeduer3838 Great suggestion as one of his mentors has said he played a Chopin Nocturne wonderfully.

The complete works of Bull. John Bull is an unrecognized genius that deserves to be as well known as Chopin or Beethoven.

Watched it earlier. He is undoubtedly a very talented pianist, composer. His name has become known for a long time, being child prodigy. Like his interviews. He makes everything he does to be remembered. As for the question asked I would leave the choice to Kim Armstrong himself. Everything he chooses would be divine.

This musician has his own voice. That in itself is rare.

0:45 is it possible? I mean, is it written like that or he just decided to play like that? The result is really good btw.
@IMNLU3 жыл бұрын
Ha … I guess the notes wrote by Bull, but did not mention the tempo or what the emotion, kit Armstrong express it by his own way is more closer to us, life in the 21st' century. I like 0:45 too! One finger quickly passes from right to left ☝👐👍👏

By using just one finger, it is easier to achieve evenness in non legato, but of course that finger needs to move fast

Hallelujah. Superb playing. Do you play carter/webern etc. ???

at 2:12 you see how much Mr. Armstrong controls the touch of the piano to let the melodies flow
