The main characters in the movies tend to be the best of the best. A regular jedi might die easily enough when surrounded on all sides by battle droids or when facing an especially powerful sith lord.

Yeah, I like how Grevious had 4 lightsabers, that was badass! But Fisto was my fave because he looked so cool, like a hippie, and idk, something about him was always so mysterious! And he trained Windu, who was also a badass so that makes Fisto a double badass! And he had an interesting style of combat, he uses fluid motions, where everyone else seems so robotic in their attacks. I just always thought he was the most unique Jedi. lol

Kit Fisto was actually one of the early designs for Darth Maul. But George Lucas turned down the design and used it for a Jedi instead. The Sith apprentice design was Kit Fisto wearing war paint on his face.

But notice that Kit put up a better fight and lasted longest out of any of them (except Windu obviously) and he actually had a few good blocks and slashes in there too. He is my favorite character, hands down, or the Star Wars series. And he's just so damn cool looking!

Kit Fisto was a great swordsman, and was a the quintessential master of Shii-cho or Basic Sword/Technique. It was his preferred style, and strong overall, but it had it's weaknesses. I'd like to offer a theory though. The Jedi Order wasn't training to face primarily saber wielding opponents. Technique was good, but they had holes in their skills. Sidious was geared toward saber vs saber. Worked on it his whole life. That may give him the needed edge to kill those other masters. Just a thought.

I hear conspiracies about Kit Fisto's death in Ep. lll, when the Jedi's attempt to arrest Palpatine, that he survived. Based on where Kit was struck by Sidious's blade, the cut wouldn't have exactly killed him. Notice while watching this scene, how the blade slices just across his stomach towards his side, nearly missing his chest. With a cut like that, I'm willing to bet anyone could survive that, of course that is unless you're a jedi.

Great video. Have u noticed that his face changed between episode 2 and 3. In episode 3, it's more agresif, his eyes are bigger. There is a rumor that Palpatine didn't kill him, has someone information about that?

The reason why they died so quick was because Sidious used a kind of force scream. (forgot the actual name). it has an paralyzing effect and Mace was the only one powerfull enough to resist it. Kit could a little but never recovered full before it was to late. So it actual slow the movements down. thats why Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar got killed so easy. many don't know this so please rate this comment up so others can see. (Y)

@MasterJediDude Even though they were powerful, Palpatine was much, much more powerful then Fisto, I mean I do agree with you abit but if Fisto were to duel palpatine, it would be an easy win for palpatine. You might be thinking now, 'But mace windu won? How can palpatine be that powerful?' And the answer to that question is Mace Windu is actully a really powerful jedi, he was the best lightsaber fighter in the prequels before his death, even better then yoda.

The Kit Fisto in Episodes II and III are not they same character; they are brothers who, as tradition in Nautolan culture (making crap up) share the same name (maybe because Nautolans give birth to on average dozens of babies at a time, and don't expect all to live so they name some the same name). They just look WAY too different to be the same character. DAMN MAKE UP ARTISTS.

Seriously though, am I the only one that noticed? The Kit's in the movies have different eyebrow bridges, different sized eyes, not to mention Episode III's are closer together, and have red rings surrounding the eyes, they also have different shades of green skin, Episode II's tentacles are very different to Episode III's in terms of length, and Kit in Episode III seems to lack a neck. They don't even look related.

I agree with you, but Lucas didn't show us realy frantic and wild sabre fight but rather "meeeh" one. So, in the end, we get scene in witch 3 jedi masters die like padavans. And it was a sabre fight, not a Force fight in particular. And who knows, maybe Fisto could be a bether swordsman than Palpatine, not stroneger in Force, but bether in sword art.. Lucas, Lucas...
