Rose, we used to use Brita filters but now we use a Megahome water distiller which we use to fill our glass kettle, our iron and glass fridge jugs for cold water (Asda £2 each). The distiller boils then condenses the water, removing impurities & limescale. You just clean the distiller with kettle limescale remover every few weeks. Highly recommended!
