I think he chose the most well rounded character in the game, no real weakness for what I think anyway, like, cassie cage is fast, good for close fighting and has range ability (guns), I think because cassie cage with a diverse set of abilities gives sonic a bunch of game plans that ultimately is enough to become a challenge for anyone. Maybe not lui kang?
