I first heard about Kitab at-Tawhid from people who were using the word "Wahhabi" as an insult. I got curious and read this book, and it really changed my life and my perspective on the religion, all praise and thanks be to Allah. The irony of people insulting its author being a reason for someone to benefit from the book. Looking forward for this series!

Didn't his brother Sulayman ibn Abd al-Wahhab call him a khwariji and confirmed that he is what the prophet prophecied to be the horn of satan from najd? he wrote "Al-Sawa'iq al-Ilahiyya fi al-Radd 'ala al-Wahhabiyya", where he explicitly refuted Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and then later his group which was killing Muslims were defeated by the ottomans up until the British came which later created modern saudi arabia.

@SalafiOnyx This is a fabricated statement made by a man who came over 100 years after the passing of Shaykh Sulaymān ibn Abd al-Wahhāb (may Allāh have mercy on him). There is no authentic sourcing, nor did any scholars agree with the cited fabricated statement, he didn't even live in the same time as Shaykh Sulaymān ibn Abd al-Wahhāb, and if it is said that this 'mysterious - secret' letter maybe passed down to him from his own father, 'Abd al-Rahmān ibn Hassan, who was also a religious head of the Wahhābi group and was taken away by the Ottoman army after he wrote works also justifying takfir and killing and declaring the Ottomans as apostates like his Cult Master, Ibn 'Abd al-Wahhāb al-Najdī, he could not have possibly received this document or text from his father, who was born after the capture of Shaykh Sulaymān ibn 'Abd al-Wahhāb and not during. We also know through numerous verified historical documentations that Sulaymān ibn Abd al-Wahhāb was captured, and in some documents, it is mentioned that he was chained and brought forcefully to Ad-Dirfiyyah. It is highly unlikely that a repentant man who suddenly believed in his brother lbn 'Abd al-Wahhāb would end up being physically restrained and taken in chains from a battlefield. Simply makes no sense.

@@SalafiOnyx Al-Ziriklī writes in his snippet on Sulaymãn ibn 'Abd al-Wahhāb: Al-Bassãm further cites the fact that Imam Sulaymān had always been at war with the call of Ibn 'Abd al- Wahhāb al-Najdī, along with the other scholars of his time, and none of them ever changed their position. Indeed, the only followers of Muhammad ibn Abd al- Wahhāb were his students. Al-Bassām also highlights the fact that the so-called "letter of repentance" contains a statement- attributed to Imām Sulaymān--purportedly asking Allah to "have mercy on Muhammad ibn 'Abd al- Wahhab,"' a type of eulogy only used for the dead This would suggest that if the letter were real, it would have been written after the death of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhāb, This point also undermines the entire foundation of what Ibn Bishr and Ibn Ghannām--both born after 1190 and not quoting any eyewitnesses to the events under discussion--set out in their respective works.
