I’m Nigerian and I’m 38 years old. I listened to this song as a kid with my dad. I never knew the title because it was just on a tape with nothing written on it. My dad passed away in 2005 and I moved to another city when I got married. But anytime I thought of my daddy 😢 I played this song in my head. Today, I didn’t know what pushed me to ask google if I can hum a song and I’ll find it. It was possible! I hummed and google brought it out! Oh God!! I cried! I really cried!! The song opened up bottled feelings in my heart! Daddy, I know I’m grown up and a mother of five kids but I haven’t stopped missing you 😭😭. Thank you for making me to love great music! I love you!!

I heard Kitaro and band at the Budokan in Tokyo, in the mid 80's , when he was the intro music for the Dali Lama. It was the most magical hour I have ever lived. Even after he stopped playing the Hall was still resonating to his music. Truly an extraordinary experience. And the Dali Lama wasn't too shabby either.

February 2021: I've been looking for this song since forever!!! I saw it on my uncle's DVD when I was probably 4 or 5 years old (20+ years ago) and only remembered part of the melody and this long haired Japanese wizard man ! It's almost a miracle to find it today by humming into Google assistant lol (this is not an ad for them lol) but it's amazing what technology can bring back childhood memory and I'm super duper happy and thankful to be enjoying this beautiful beautiful masterpiece again as an adult!!!! 😍

I saw Kitaro live in Boston in the 1980s. He didn’t have three drums he had a wall of drums! It was spectacular. There was one number, wish i could remember the name, that I found myself with tears running down my face it was so moving. A true master of sound.

I just watched this video; the music does makes more sense now, seeing Kitaro and his musicians move in and around the stage; just like the saying, "a picture speaks a thousand words", so simple tune yet indeed moving!

Slot perjalanan lebih 200km menelusuri hutan tropika tertua di dunia (berusia lebih 150 juta taun) banjaran titiwangsa 1000 meter dari aras laut dengan kiri kanan ibarat zoo terbuka dipenuhi harimau belang, gajah, beruang dan sebagainya bersama family yang sedikit mendebarkan hati kerana kereta tiada spare tayar, tapi amat menyeronokkan/healing bila diiringi irama2 seperti kitaro ini hingga sering terasa sekejap perjalanan itu.
