Kitaro had numerous arrangements of Silk Road over the decades. I especially love the 1995 Live in USA Enchanting Evening version, it was grand and enchanting indeed...but this version is another feel; it brings back the old NHK documentary feels. Listening to this version, images of the several key locations filmed in the original documentary came to my mind and it is majestic.....
