I was introduced to Kitaro by a crewman I sailed with on container ships - 1987-1989...I cant remember his name , but I'm eternally grateful...this tune brought me down on an airplane in a storm some years ago , maybe 2014, after 3 tries at landing at Glasgow airport. With this loud in my earphones, I wasn't afraid of dying....so peaceful...graceful, and the way to go.

I watched the Silk Road tv series in the 80s. Never miss an episode and recorded every episode and replayed often. Kitaro's Silk Road tune still haunts me today with peace and bring me back to the places and days as shown in the TV series, so real like I was doing the Silk Road journey.
