Hi Liza and Mark if I could give you one tip for Kitchen is go for draws, I know you still young, I can’t bend down and put stuff in and out of cupboards anymore and the best thing we did is have all drawers even a corner pull out kidney shaped two shelf storage. The only cupboard is under the sink because of pipes and we have a water softener it’s made such a big difference and we can now access all the kitchen space. I’m with you Liza don’t think I could be brave enough to go dark. Our Kitchen and utility are cream but we have a bright green glass splash back in both as I didn’t want tiles I’m very happy with it even though it’s 10 years old it still looks brand new and modern. Love all your new plans such a shame about your beautiful boot room but if it doesn’t suite how you use it totally understand you swapping the rooms round xx

Exciting plans - the new utility will be great and your bedroom refresh looks lovely. I miss some of the aspects of our old house which we lived in for 36 years. We did a huge renovation many years ago extending backwards and upwards at one side and sideways at the other side of the house creating a large utility room and ensuite then a bigger dining room with an office off it, we also took the chimney breast out at the same time! Luckily our kids had left home by then as it did cause some disruption - we lived in the bedroom for 6 weeks but it was so worth the mess. Looking forward to seeing all your plans come to fruition and loving seeing Ragnor so involved all the time 😸

Hi Liza, I have the flash mop and one of my tips I use is using the mop heads from my old spray mop they are a little bigger than the flash reusable but they work just as good x

I’ve seen kitchens and what have you where they have kitchen units in front of windows like yours and it looks really nice if done properly I think it’s probably more of a US thing if you looked into it you may not have to have that window changed x
