I loved this video and the your organisation of space in the fridge. What a good idea. I have two fridges, one in the kitchen and one in the dining room. It has been very useful to have the two fridges. I loved the trays you bought to organise your make up and clothes.

A small see through lazy Susan is great for the fridge instead of taking the heavy container out u can just turn it around 👍 😉

Just be open to making alot of changes as you create storage and organization in your new kitchen. After 31 years, we did a total rehab of our kitchen and now, three years later, I am finally satisfied with the system I have put in place. Also, be patient with yourself...I always hear my Dad's voice saying " If your system isn't working, it could be you are not working the system" meaning you can change things around, be willing to re-evaluate, but any organization requires maintenance, too. I am so happy to see your joy as you create your forever home!

I use fridge organisation and it doesn’t necessarily save space but I group things together such as sandwich meats, cheeses, snacks, drinks, dinner items and it keeps things tidier as everything has a place and I can just take a whole box out in order to make lunch etc. also I take things out of packages a lot of the time to sacs space 🥰

These are my favourite kind of videos!! I think for the lower plate cupboard - I’d keep things to their zone, so plates all on the left, with that pile stacked in the corner with those bowls, but then the other pile of plates in front in that dead space for easy access. Then mugs etc on the right with the least used put to the back! :) X

Laura.. Tips⚠️.. Put your toothpaste with your toothbrush in the stand. There was room for it and then they are together. I use old shallow plastic containers/tupperware on my narrow fridge shelves.. Eg one for cheese, one for cooked meat and fish, one for yogurts etc (same idea as your sauce boxes on your top shelf) . Then I just pull it out of the fridge to use something.. Nothing gets lost at the back of the narrow shelves. You could add shelves to your big kitchen cupboards and/or I installed pull out metal cupboard draws.. So it's easy to get things in and out. Then I got the cheap clear plastic bins from IKEA and put them in it so I can use the full hight space in the cupboards.. Which are my pantry.

Put your short condiment jars in the top 2 shelves of fridge door. Should be just enough height. Then taller ones in just one plastic container on top shelf of main fridge, and whatever is currently in the fridge door (looks like cheese?) in the other box. Saves you lifting all of the heavy jars down at once. Can easily see all of jar labels and see what’s running low etc.

We always used a second fridge/freezer in the garage for drinks, extra stuff and things we didn’t have often! I think I’d have used the rack for all the plates (now you’ve flipped it the right way round) and put the bowls in the dead space in front! Then mugs all on one side of the cupboard! X

I love having a sort out just had sone drawers units delivered from Muji which I have used in my eBay & sewing room. Homebase do a really useful clear plastic basket with a long but shallow protruding handle which I use for the top shelves in kitchen as it makes it easier to reach and pull out. I wanted you to put your toothpaste next to your toothbrush as it was buried under hair stuff!

Lara, if you turn the plate cadee upside down, then you get proper shelfs and can use it for large plates on the bottom, second shelf for small plates and bowls on top.Try it and see.

Oh I LOVE an organisation video. So with ikea you can go on and use their pax planner design programme online. We've just fitted out our wardrobes, and it's amazing. You can just put in the dimensions of the wardrobes you already have and you can re configure what you have and see what works best for you. You get a brilliant idea as it shows you with clothes in it. Long dresses etc. The part you were speaking about for dresses you'd have to buy new inserts as the bottom part comes as a T frame. It'll become clear when you do it online. Its well worth a look. 😘

Are there no narrow upper kitchen cabinets for dishes? That's the most practical place for plates, cups and bowls than a lower cabinet that means you have to stack things in front and bend over all the time!

There are 2 sets of cabinets but they’re glass fronted and none of the plates match so thought I’d hide them away! Xx
