Great job! Im wondering how do you secure the island to the floor so it doesnt tip over ? Thanks for all your amazing videos. I learned alot of cool things from them!
@CAVjoinery5 ай бұрын
No it doesn’t tip the only thing it might slide but if that is will use a 2/3 and glue it on floor as the floor is heated so we can not drill it than put some L brackets that should solve the problem

I’m starting to like the look and functionality of the new modern kitchen design as to the traditional shaker, raised panel look. The track saw is a game changer for accuracy done simple. Probably the best tool I have in my arsenal. Since watching your videos I have subliminally been purchasing Festool tools. Whether I need them or not 😂
@CAVjoinery6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching my video i do not have too i just did it because i use to have a small car so i was tink to stick with one size tool boxes like festool and other thing was to stay with one battery platform so i do not need all sorts of chargers and accessories
@enemyofthestatewearein79454 ай бұрын
I quite like the look of this too, it looks much more robust, ergonomic and stylish than the cheaper machined edge handles (which I worry will be easily damaged). But it looks like the Gola profile restricts storage options a little. I notice that these kitchens usually have only deep drawers, so the lines are very slick, but where do we put the cutlery and utensils?

Plinths look like they are off the floor slightly, just I did this because I didn't want to scribe the Plinths and put a light at the bottom looks cool. Great video.
