I like seeing you mate the old stuff with the new stuff. You don't see those brass traps much anymore.

I can't believe I watched your entire video but it was a lot of information and a lot of fun especially at the end when you were speaking with the lady of the house! My husband who has since passed used to be a master plumber and I was interested to see how things worked. I was wondering how you were going to tie in that PVC to that old cast iron pipe. Loved the doggie dance too! Great video!

That grinder is really a lifesaver and a great idea. How many times I've used a mini hack saw to get drains off sinks or pipes under sinks/tubs. Grinder goes on all jobs now.

A tip that I figured out from snaking toilets DIY: Clean the coil at the end of the snake with a utility knife each time you pull it out. When the coil is clean it catches maximum debris the next time you go down. I think it goes without saying wear gloves when you do this.

I was wondering, you talked about the rubber not being "legal" There was a copper coupling on the end of the trap you took out. Could you have un soldered it and re connected it to the drain pipe to be up to code?
