I own a totem vario 2021, really nice bar and super affordable. However there are two things that bother me. First the spinner for untwisting lines is impossible to use on the water you really need to unload the lines to spin it so its super tedious and distracting. The second thing: the hole on the safety line stopper ball was too big on my bar and the knot slipped through causing pretty heavy constant steer on one side. The thing is that there is also a ring for stopping the safety line attached to the bar already, so I could just replace the ball with that and continue my session after. With these two things in mind I would still recommend the bar, really only the spinner bothers me, which I think has been improved on the newer bar? I haven't tried it, but it looks a lot like the old one.

This bar looks very good from a design perspective with good quality parts and easy replacement. However I think the color choices are very poor (bar is ugly looking). I think it would be more successful with better colors, red on the left and white, gray, blue or black on the right

Personally I agree on this. But its interesting that when I talked about this with Donatien he said that after they introduced these colors their sales increased quite alot. It offers an alternative to the more traditional colorways. @@lappis2049 I have the 'Kite-School' colour scheme 2022 (with the AKA V3 chicken-loop), it's a great bar, I am very pleased with it. If I had one small caveat it would be that in order to make it truly 'universal' (across different kite disciplines) it would be nice to get the option of the 'brake/stall' handle included; or at a discount if purchased with a bar/lines set.......some of us ride landboards and snowboards ;-) That being said, the quality of the 'brake/stall handle is very, very good....I just hate the colour (fluo-green). Would be nice in blue or red....or even bleu, blanc et rouge ala tricolor :D
