I had this brilliant idea of doing a really ranty video outdoors because the light was good but there were people everywhere! And I didn't feel like screaming "shut the fuck up" while there were people about.
But it was windy which meant the kite surfers were out in force. This was actually really difficult to shoot because they glare off the water was so strong I couldn't see my camera viewfinder clearly so I was never sure what I was shooting.

i live about 2 minutes away from there if u walk down the trach a bit past the peer along were they did all that work on the bank's thers a big park land and people get there billy carts and a kite and get serious air its looks great fun

I always thought that kite surfing looked like fun! its pretty much like having a parachute while on a surf-board... Not that I know anything about surfing at all. I've seen land surfers use those kites too, it just looks like fun!!

Well, I love the feeling of floating in the air. Goodness, heaven knows that! The only time I was still scared after the parachute was up was my first time, and I think it was only because I was still so high up (doggone, this is making me want to go again!). I still feel scared about that rock climbing thing, I don't know what my problem is. A little boy managed to do get to the top of that thing Halloween night at a Church festival. I've tried 3 or 4 times and STILL haven't reached the top!

St Kilda does rule. I used to wake up on the beach then walk home when I lived on the Upper Esplanade. Thanks for the post. Did you get a chance to have a pot or two at the Espy? It did look a bit windy that day.

Well, for not knowing what you were shooting you sure got some nice footage. Now that I've gone skydiving 5 times, I'd like to try paragliding. kite surfing, I don't know about that. I have never even HEARD of that. Maybe if I was already surfing, I would have liked to try that but I imagine I'd still have to know how to surf WITHOUT the kite before I could try THIS.
