Interesting video, Ralf. I am very happy with my Moon Kite, but I don't think I will ever try to fly it as a four-liner. The sound on the video is a little unclear because the original German version can still be heard.

What is the function of that net from aerodynamical point of view? When is it functioning, in case of normal or backwards flying?

On single line kites: just reduce the pressure On quad line kites: reduce the pressure, but, more important, swirl the air and make the kite more stabil. A Rev in reverse flight with a net flies more stabil than a Rev without a net - in reverse flight notabene
