GREAT videos no nothing about planes but enjoy your work habits. You have the patience of JOB. I am0 72 yrs old and am glad to see someone of your age showing younger people what hard work and frustration is a good learning tool. Also love your flight videos. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. JIM

Fantastic content. It takes a great deal of time to build, record, and share here. Appreciate the videos and the detailed thoughts on what you are doing.

Bryan, when you lay the peel ply, make sure it is ALL wet. It should NOT look "patchy". It is the final covering of the "layup". It needs to look all wet on the mould, otherwise when it is removed, you will have that "patchy" look - as you can see for yourself. You did not require that many layers of carbon. What it needed was a 3mm "hard foam" layed up between two layers of cloth. It would come out totally stiff and probably two and a quater pounds. The "slot" for the turtle deck only needs to be a "cut line" in the carbon fibre, as it will bend around the beam for the flaps. Thanks for sharing from New Zealand. :)

Very functional upgrade. Turned out pretty sweet! The cockpit to wing fairings look great too. Are you planning on making any CF lift strut to upper attachment point fairings?

Very nice but carbon fiber is mildly opaque to electrical current which could interfere with radio transmission.

Could have been much lighter without adding the top layer, but ended up at 6.5 lbs.
