Coveralls are a time honored tradition for mechanics in all disceplines. On your problem on the wing leading edge, contact Kitfox, maybe they can correct the error. For the shocks, again, contact the manufacture. There is no acceptable reason that shock shoud be leaking. Likely they will stand behind their product and make it right.
