Kitless Pens- An Intro Including Tools and Terms

Awesome job!! I'm bummed I couldn't watch live. Thanks for showing off my pen, that's so cool!! I can't wait for the upcoming episodes and videos. Oh, and to answer your question about wood or metal lathe... I still haven't gotten the metal lathe fully up and running, so I haven't made a pen on a metal lathe yet by myself. So far though, the wood lathe has been working great! I highly recommend getting both the Tenon Cutter and the Niche Tool for anyone who is getting into custom pens. Those two tools really make the process so much easier on a wood lathe. I couldn't imagine not having them at this point

Nice work Chad & Amy. Using this series as a remedial lesson so I can get back into making custom pens. In addition to the clip session, I would also recommend a session on making sections for rollerball pens; the world does not just write with fountain pens anymore.
