Your work and craftsmanship are second to none Mark and I always leave your videos impressed. No idea what'll be in the box but the other commenters suggesting a military themed edible product seem to me a good guess.

Maybe there's going to be a coffee cup in that box. Five years ago, I polished the forks on my Harley and then coated them with Protecta Clear by Everbrite, Inc. They still look fresh as the day I coated them. Great job on the build.

I just want to say I started watching your series on the zenith CH 750SD. I am really enjoying it. I love your attention to detail and the step-by-step process that you’re taking us through. I’ve been building RC aircraft over 40 years and I think it’s time I get into full scale and I’m really liking the Zenith line of planes. Would you recommend this as a first time aircraft for someone who’s learning to fly? I would like to purchase the aircraft, build it, and learn to fly in this aircraft with the help of an instructor of course.

Beautiful airplane. As a fan of all things warbirds, I love the theme of the Super Duty. The colors and paint scheme really pay homage to the paint schemes of WWII. Your mechanic abilities are top shelf. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and quality you put into everything you do on the Super Duty and any of your planes. By the way, love the T-shirt. P-38 is my favorite airplane. Well, I have 2 favorites. P-38 and F-15 Eagle. May I ask where you picked that up that T-shirt?

From my limited understanding, I thought wing twist was to help stability and make the wing stall from the root outward. I wonder if your modification will change the stall characteristics along with slower flight handling and stability. Really interested to see how it behaves setup that way.

I wonder if you could simulate the wing twist by putting vortex generators only on the outer half of the wing panels. Thus the center section would still be the first to stall.

Hey mark, at 14:07 it looks as if your turn buckle threads are not fully engaged into the barrel. From memory, they are meant to have the entire thread engaged in the barrel. It could just be the angle but I thought I would just flag that for you to take a look at! It’s certainly coming along nicely!

Our 701 had some metal tubing attached as bushing material, which we use to make our bushings, maybe it's the same with your Super Duty kit

These are very small steel bushings. I don't have any steel tube and as small and precise as they are, I wouldn't even attempt to make my own!

@@KitplaneEnthusiast Yes, I understand you completely! The ones I made for the 701 were already a few mm long. And since you're in the USA, you got the parts from Zenith within days. Great video, I was really pleased that you posted your progress with your Super Duty again. Thank you very much for taking the time to make the videos.

@@KitplaneEnthusiast those bushings are $8.60 a piece (don't ask how I know) but my kit was short by 2 also. So I went to Online Metals and got a 12" piece of 4130 steel tubing .375" OD x .023" wall thickness and cut my own. They 2.5mm long.

G,day Mark from Sydney Australia. Hope you gained some new and interesting knowledge from Oshkosh. The Super Duty I noticed; 1. No cotter pins on castle nuts from brake push rods off rudder pedals? (Not that it matters much). 2. That black drain hose; up over the white engine frame. Any chaffing consideration from vibration? 3. The two fuses between the Dynon and shunt DC. Why not panel fuses? 💫🛩️

Regarding your Flaperon modification. Unless you are adjusting the control rod...aren't you just extending the Flap into the Aileron? I would think you would want the Flap part to raise up to the normal position the Aileron is normally?

I'm anxious to hear the results of the flaperon modification. I would think a little speed and perhaps more crisp in roll. What did Mexico have to say about the mod?
