I laughed outloud when you mentioned your distaste for a football look on your seats! Very funny. The look you obtained is just right, IMO. I thought it was real leather until you said otherwise. A rich brown color.

These seats are exactly as I envisioned them! I love the color and texture of the fake leather. You can definitely tell by touching them they are not real leather, but they are suppose to be a lot more durable.

Those blades look in good shape.. I wouldn’t do an overhaul, but an IRAN. You don’t need the. To grind and repaint the blades, they can. Disassemble and do bearings and inspect for much cheaper than a full overhaul. Man, that Potts is going to be a blast!!

Supposedly this prop only has 8 hours on it. You may be right about not needing a full overhaul. I’ll ask the prop shop and see what their recommendation is. I’m not sure what the difference would be between a full overhaul and just a “rebuild” would be. But if it’s quicker and cheaper I’m all for it!!

I'm guessing maybe 5 pounds? That's just a guess. They are not very heavy at all.

Nice Seats! what is the thickness on the front and rear of the bottom seat? i have been thinking about making them myself or get a local upholster to do them, i have the sliding seat option also and while sitting in it with out cushions seems like I'm sitting high enough.

G,day Mark from Sydney Australia. Super Duty Yes, the seats look nice: that's for sure. Are you adding a tie around the control stick boot? You wouldn't want french fries falling in. Pitts Did the A&P test the plugs or just a visual? Moreover, he adjusted the timing: did that mean magnetos? 🌏🇦🇺

I noticed you don't have head rests, and many small planes don't, is there a reason why? Seems like it would be more comfortable for longer trips (like in a car).

I'm not sure. That's just how the Zenith seats are designed. Those headrests would have to be pretty tall and I think they would look terrible in this particular airframe.
