Thanks for the faring series. It gave me confidence to make the rear faring on my 7.

It’s cool to see you buy hardware from B&B. I ran into those very genuine folks at Copperstate Fly In, Casa Grande, Arizona several years ago. I stocked up on bags of hardware and would love to do the same again. More satisfying than choosing part numbers from an online store.

Great job! These videos are very inspiring and quite frankly, invaluable. I must have missed it, but what goes between the fairing and the windshield to keep the rain out? Know that by providing these videos that you have helped me make my decision to build a plane, THANKS!

Looks really good and much better than the stock rubber... For engine I'm guessing you'll use one of your Pitts engines ??!!

Looks good and makes me very thankful that RANS provides this fairing with their S-21 kit. 😁

Yes I've seen the pre-made fairing that RANS provides and it's very nice! Definitely saves the builder a lot of time.

@@KitplaneEnthusiast I have pre-made fairings on my CH300 and they look awful, they don't fit well at all and I'm going to rebuild them.

G,day Mark from Sydney Australia. It takes quite some time to laminate a composite material (fibreglass) fairing, to improve the laminar flow from the cowling.Thanks for the instructions. Over and above all; I hope you can explain the benefits of short engine mounts to longer steel mounts. * Access for maintenance * Twisting and strength 🧑🔧🕵️

I learned a lot from your fairing videos. looking forward to see your engine choice ;)

I know what you mean about the modification / details that we do adds a lot to the time it takes to finish the aircraft, that said, if you want an aircraft to be proud of you have to put in the time. My latest video is a big modifcation from plywood plank rudder pedals to something more aircraft like.

Would nut-plates be much better for removal and installation?
@Know-Way2 жыл бұрын
Nice work! Will you use nut-plates or regular nuts?

+2kts cruise, -2 kts stall.
@KitplaneEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
You must have used common core math to get those numbers! I've calculated it at +13kts cruise and -7kts stall!
