🎀I have been able to finish most of my matte setting powders. I now only have one left.🎀 🎀Still working on my neural palette from Make Up Révolution. I am starting to get bored of it but, have found a way to use some eyeshadows to look like blushers. Used up a black liner. When I think about it actually, it’s going really well. I’m just bored of the eyeshadow palette.🎀

Thank you for sharing, as always, super motivational! What a hack with that NARS base! I wonder if I could try it in store or get a sample. Last two times I tried a NARS base product, my skin was burning from it :( I'm not sure what's in it... I have almost no budget for makeup, so I'm not really in a rush to finish everything, although I finished up a tinted lipbalm, made a huge dent in my pressed powder also, I will probably repurchase it the By Terry hydra one, since I'm applying it with a brush instead of a sponge, it is like miracle! Also about to use up a blush stick. However my goals are in skincare. I spend a lot on it, I budget a lot for it, and I had to throw out way too many earlier this year because they were off and unused. You know when you're so exhausted, you only take your makeup off with wipes and your face might see some water in the morning, sunscreen and that's it?... well I had a vicious cycle as such for almost three months and ended up with a few bottles of expired skincare. It hurt my skin, it hurt my wallet, so never again!

This season I finished up my Pat McGrath undereye setting powder, Armani concealer, Kosas concealer, a couple brow products, a facial oil and a body moisturizer. I’m alllllmost done with my la mer foundation. Few more pumps of that fave, but I’m ready for it to be gone so I can wear something else for a while 😅

I've been trying to pan a H&M powder for the second summer in a row. It's now literally around the edges, and I need it gone, but I have to use selftanning products more if I want it to fit me now 😅 So it's a rush to the finish line. Literally one or two days left in my All-Nighter, meanwhile my Nudestix bronzer seems endless.

I am also not using up the stuff that I don’t like. The moment I pan them, I declutter them. I did it with two shadows of Natasha Denona and the dark shade of a Jouer blush duo. I hit pan on them and then decluttered them. The next one is the Milani Luminoso. Doesn’t work for my fair skin. I use it under my foundation and then I put a Fenty cream one that I love. The moment I hit pan on the Luminoso, it’s gone.

Have you tried using the Laura Mercier powder with a powder puff then swiping the excess off with a brush? I find that’s the only way setting powders work for my skin now that I am in my almost mid 30s

I have, and it’s way too much power sadly. The only way to make it work is to dust off so much that you can barely see it on the brush and then to slowly build it up. It’s not worth the hassle 😅

U literally just gave me a kick up my bum the end of last yr i was like no im thowing my Napoleon nude pallette out after having it in my project for a solid 18months. But i didnt i kept hold of it and been using all this yr aswell. I realized i havnt been enjoying my eye looks and ii think thats why . So yep its going in the bin i have used up 3 colors and hit pan on 3 more so time to go

The finish of my makeup doesn’t change much from season to season, it’s more how it wears that can change. So even if this does suit oiler skin more, if it ruins how my makeup looks as soon as I apply it, that won’t change in warmer weather

Yeah I’m right there with you. I think my threshold for tolerating “ok” makeup has changed and now I don’t have time for it. I just don’t want to throw things out that I might regret later, but right now I’m keen to do a clean out

I’m not necessarily tracking a project pan this year, but I have been trying to use up my damn merit lip oil before it goes bad and it just keeps going 😅 same thing with my Nars concealers (1 radiant creamy and 1 soft matte), I’ve hit serious pan on them but I just can’t seem to get any closer to truly being finished! I also recently tossed out a couple of old lip products that I finally admitted did not suit me color wise (cool pinks) and tossed a couple of mini mascaras (bare minerals maximist-good formula but too big brush, milk kush-nice brush but smudged on me ☹️)

Oh that’s a bugger! I’m really loving my Milk Kush sample. I’m on the verge of throwing out a Charlotte Tilbury mascara… it’s so subtle it barely does anything! I love declutting mascaras because they are so easy to decide if you like them or not.
