I use lavender eyeliners in my lower waterline with cool toned eye looks. It's a fun pop of color 🎉

I’ve never really project panned before but was inspired watching some videos - so have gone through and picked out old makeup that I want to use up: L’Oréal infallible pro foundations (2 shades one lighter and one darker), a maybeline fit me pressed powder, an LA Girl pro setting powder, a physicians formula butter bronzer, a maybeline fit me blush, some makeup by trinny cream blushes, an open roller lash mascara in black, an eyebrow pencil that is so little and old I can’t remember what it is (I don’t use much brow products), several different lipsticks ranging from colour pop and Tarte to hourglass and charlotte tilbury with a broad range of colours / textures (nude, soft pink, hot pink, grape, red), 2 x Mac eyeliners one white and one black that I have had forever! and eyeshadow wise, some makeup by trinny cream eyeshadows, and I have brought in my stila glitter and glow collection as they are getting dry. My aim was to use up old products and cheaper products so I can justify my more expensive replacements as my skin is a lot older / less forgiving now! Good luck with yours!

Last year was the first year I focused on reducing, using, and decluttering. I finished or decluttered 7 lip products, multiple sample sized moisturizers and serums, and gave over 50 assorted blushes/bronzers/brow products and hair products to friends and family. I also canceled 3 beauty subscriptions, so I should make good progress this year as well. Thank you for the inspiration!

Paula from a beautygurumademedoit found out that you can revive the marc jacobs liners with putting duraline in/ on the led and closing it at leaving it for a day or so like that. Refreshens the pens like new aparently.

Oh thank you! That's very sweet! This cotton dress is one I picked up in the boxing day sales over at She Street, they have some fun bright dresses and really comfy fits. These earrings (and most of my collection) are from Martha Jean. I like that they use surgical steel so I don't get any irritation

I might be moving (back) to Australia this year and I am eyeing my makeup collection like 👀 because no way can all of this come with me. This was the kick in the butt I needed to start a serious Project Pan.

Oh what a challenge! I would start using a few product every week, if you don’t like them - find someone who will take them, if you love them - put them in the packing box!

I love these videos, in depth on your panning! Last year I did panning and kept a list on my phone of what I used up, total 24 makeup products. I learned I need a daily no-thought panning option for eyshadow, and face products have to rotate winter/summer. So, I'm starting with 2 Trinny London dual cream pots, one is eyeshadow pot Wisdom/Fortune, a matte brown crease color and a shiny topper shade. The other Trinny pot is a lip/cheek duo Lady J/Nicole, the lip gloss side is gone, but I have the blush side still, about 30% gone. Carrying over Chanel Illusion d'ombre longwear shadow in New Moon, which is single topper type shade, very mineral glittery with not much base so it's more a priority to use it rather than pan. Foundation is still Lys, and finishing up Kosas Tinted Oil. Also, for winter using Jones Road WTF and balms (well below zero here), these are good for preventing frostbite. 🥶

I call my project pan “project use it up” I have 2 mini bronzers (nars & benefit), 2 mini lipsticks (CT & Marc Jacobs), PF butter bronzer, tartlette in bloom palette, and TF liquid lipsticks in Queen B and cinnamon bun. Making lots of progress 👌🏻

Hello Kat and Happy New Year! I have been doing Project Pan with you for the 3rd year now. You have inspired me. The most difficult to pan are eyeshadows and blushes. I have oily skin and I have a lot of primers which do not work for me at all. I probably should start incorporating them in my routine just for the sake of using them up. Do you have any other suggestions of using them up? They just cake my makeup and do nothing for oil control. Cheers to the new project!

Hey! It depends on the primer, but I sometimes use them up as a foot or hand cream haha!

Loving this. I just lost all my brushes - how? 😢 - and so I was thinking about curating a PP with makeup I can only use with my hands, so mostly cream products, which were getting a bit dried up so its the right moment to just get into them and get then done! I hope I can be as consistant as you are with your PPs!

Oh no! I would struggle without brushes, but it is a good incentive to focus on cream products!
