The design of the creature is based off the Kitsune. A kitsune is nine tailed fox that comes from Chinese mythology originally, before being more well known as being from Japanese mythology.

I recommend starting by the head and using simple shapes first, then doing the lineart. It might help you improve :D But overall, very cute drawing
