Just a little question. Im thinking of getting a scanner and fitting it to my car, sadly its not a transam but Im wondering what are the laws regarding the scanner in the uk, im presuming I cant use it on the road right?

@@Mythbuster3808 Hi and thank you for the question. In short the law says any light fitted to a vehicle must be operational. For MOT it must work if fitted or be blanked off. Red is not permitted for use at the front of a vehicle flashing or otherwise on a public road. All said and done so long as you do not drive around with the light on all the time on the road you will not get into any conflict with the police 👮‍♀️ other than to ask for a picture 😉
