@@freinkintherealitygame281 I believe it's simply a matter of Charo asserting dominance over her younger, smaller sister, in a territorial situation, biting while growling. Why wouldn't Choco be scared? She's pinned into a corner, unable to fight back, far above the ground, with no means of escape! The licking afterwards doesn't compensate, especially when it precedes another bite and growl. Poor little Choco doesn't know how this will end!

Sweet Charo appeared so lost after her three brothers, in whose shadow she had stood until then, left. After that, she and Kiki became inseparable friends until Kiki's unexpected death left her alone again. Charo is now almost grown up and will become a mother herself in the foreseeable future. For now, she practices with her younger sister Choco, but she is still quite clumsy. 🥰😘🤗 Choco is still so small that she can only dream of climbing the cat tower. She wants to do it so much, and one day she will manage it herself. However, her human is kind and helps her. The cat tower is very high when you are so small, and Charo is not making it any easier by testing her maternal instincts at that moment, disciplining Choco, and cornering her. 🥰😘🤗 I hope Charo and her little sisters Choco, Latte, and Pucca become good friends. 💝💝💝💝

i totally agree with your observation. same happened with lili when titi fifi left she was so lost but kiki was there to console her although she herself got so sad missing her brothers. charo by nature is too shy and submissive and losing her fluffy brothers and then kiki who was closer to her than lili was really a shock and then her playmate nico too. i am happy at least she is trying to groom choco although in a strange way 💞💞💕

I believe she was mated with Cha Cha again in February (there were visual and audio clues), and may have been in the early stages of pregnancy when she died, a few days after a vet clinic visit, in March. I also think her death was probably caused by an acute cardiac event, or a stroke. But I'm also inclined to agree with you, that she knew something was not right, at the time when she pulled away from Nico after his weaning. Cats are apparently very good at hiding illness, but her withdrawn behavior, and bald spot on her back, may have been an indicator of an underlying serious health issue.

I'm not saying there was any sign of negligence involved regarding the pregnancy, because looking at the dates they would seem to add up to a third litter arriving in early May, which would be 6 months after her last litter. That's in line with responsible cat breeding guidelines. However, for me, a question mark hangs over her second litter (Nico), because if the dates we have are correct (and we can't be sure of his exact DOB) that occurred too soon after the previous litter (4 months instead of 6). And that leads me to wonder if it was planned or accidental.

​@@McTrish she may have had a uterine infection caused by a bacterium that if undetected in animals feline pyometra having different symptoms more difficult to detect can cause loss of fur distention of stomach, lethargy tachycardia and sudden death, I'm not saying she died of this ,but I received this info from the society I support yesterday, evidently in my country both male and female cats to breed are checked independently before breeding commences in cats bred for profit ,just a contribution from myself, hope the lovely cats Lili ,charo and especially Mimi are checked for this as it's age range in breeding females 4 yrs to 10 yrs but can occur 10 months to 20 yrs in special circumstances, thank you for being aware of Kiki she deserved the best. It LASTED until she gave birth her third litter..Toppo, Pucca, then it completely Stopped..as it's now.
