Interesting that Mimi is hostile to Kiki's kittens since Kiki wasn't hostile upon the birth of Titi, Fifi and Lili. Surprisingly, Coco being a male hasn't been hostile.

I was surprised by that as well. My first thought was that Mimi would try to “steal” the kittens since female cats who have had their own kittens will instinctively try to steal another female cat’s kittens to make them her own.

I think Mimi got her feelings hurt when she realized they weren't her babies, her daughters; and then Lili becomes surrogate mother to them...maybe she felt left out...I was surprised too cuz she was such a wonderful mother to her kittens...who knows?
