I’ve seen many kitting ups but none like yours to date. I loved your guessing of the names of the colours and I was following with my chart. 3772 was named Negro brown - Dk but I renamed it Desert Sand Vy Dk as per another chart. It was interesting that 3374 is named Sportsman Flesh Vy Lt and yours is named Desert Sand. There were one or two other colours with different names. I quite agree about 3756 - it definitely doesn’t look like Baby Blue to me either. I had to laugh when you said “Gotcha”. I imagined you standing with a net or fly swatter😂

I love kitting up! This is my 1st year with DP. I have been kitting up and leaving the bottles to settle with a piece of dryer sheet in each to combat static…. I have yet to get a kit without static- something to look forward too 😂💜

It would really help you a lot when kitting up if you go through all of the bags of drills by DMC numbers and sort them by that first and then you wouldn’t have to search through all of the bags so much. Hope that helps

static is caused by the climate; cold, dry air tends to do it. try running a humidifier, or put moisturizer on your hands first.

So much fun, diamond painting and playing guess the colour 😁 Especially because I’m working on The Light Weaver… starting from the bottom to get through the large sections of colour blocking with four shades of orange/yellow. They are nice, bright colours but I’m very ready for a change 🤣 Can’t wait to see your progress, I think this kit is going to be stunning 🤩

Hi Anthea, always fun to guess the colour and choose alternative colour names, somehow it never gets old. Keep going with the orange/yellow and at least you have other paintings on the go to switch to. Is the bedspread maker back from holidays yet?

There’s definitely no easy way to do it on large canvases. I tend to label the containers first. Then I put them in case in the order I like. Numbers, letters symbols (like symbols together) then I just grab a ‘train’ and fill that way. I do keep the pink part on though. Have fun, I do love that picture but for whatever reason I never got it. ❤ps. Virtually what you did - I commented before fully watching the video 😂

Hi, I peel the stickers off when I've finished so I can use the boxes again for a new kit.

Hi Aurora, not sure what you mean but all colours have different DMC numbers and names, some have a light, medium, dark or very dark version. I hope that helps and thanks for watching 😊
