Great video. I am new to the POD business, your video is very informative. I do have a question about "user uploads" when I upload an element from another platform or my own design does that mean that Kittl has commercial rights to all my "user uploads" or is that just for the designs I publish?

Great video, thanks. I did have a problem getting the texture to apply only to the graphic. I uploaded a PNG graphic created originally in Illustrator. The words in the graphic had been vectorized in Illustrator and the file was then exported as a PNG. When I uploaded it to Kittl and opened it as a New Project on an artboard, and then added the texture, it filled the entire artboard as you said. Then on the right menu when I enabled the Clip Content option, the texture shrank about 30% to somewhat to cover the upper area of the artboard. But still it was applied not only to the graphic but to the artboard too, though in a smaller area as described. Did I do something wrong? Thanks!

My version of Kittl does not have the option to upload fonts. I have this exact font from Creative Fabrica and and when I try to upload it, I get an error message that says...file not supported.

Greetings. Forgive me if my question seems silly, but I am totally new to the T-shirt design business. I usually just print out an image and place it on a shirt. I just purchased an Svg file with text inside the image. Am I able to change the text with Kittl? Thank you.

question for you , can one be successful without personalizing POD? i work fulltime so I dont think I will have time to personalize coffee mugs. I am enjoying this ETSY POD but it will be hard to the personalized mugs, tshirts. thanks

Hi! Yes, you can be successful selling POD products without doing personalized designs. There are some niches where personalization is what can make your design unique and stand out, but there are still lots of niches and sub-niche opportunities on multiple products that don't require personalization of the design. Most of my products that sell regularly are non-personalized t-shirts, mugs, and tote bags. The only other thing that you might find is that some POD products have a cost that is too high to sell non-personalized designs - since personalized designs usually justify a higher price. But that really won't limit you all that much.

Ps I’m hearing buzz about Monster Digital using shipper DHL and that it’s adding a lot of ship time…thoughts?

Interesting...I did not hear about this myself but I just checked on a hoodie order from last week and sure enough, it shipped via DHL Global Mail which has the handoff to USPS. I'm not a huge fan because that handoff opens the opportunity for more mistakes. If I had to guess...it was most likely a move to reduce shipping cost so they wouldn't have to increase prices. But it gets more interesting...I saw an email from Printify about shipping charge increases effective 9/21/22 and Monster Digital was included, however their sweatshirt/hoodie price says it's not changing and the shipping method says "priority". Of course, DHL Global Mail is not USPS Priority, so I'm guessing that spreadsheet from Printify is wrong. I'm going to send a message to Printify and see what they say about it. Thanks for pointing this out!

I’m a member of a Facebook group called POD Rockstars that alerted me to this. It might help you to join not only for info but to get exposure for your channel. I mentioned your channel btw in a post lately…
