Yo Defected!!! Too much minimal and not enough uplifting soulful house nowadays. Let’s see a back to the mid 90s when House was a feeling and not always this minimal deep and dark house that most of these recorded live sessions seems to have. I’m talking stuff like Zanzibar club in NYC, B&S soulful house at the bAR rHUMBA, Paul Trouble Anderson min 90s slamming house mixes,Stuff from King street records in the 90s, Jovenn, Cajamere, Ricky Morrison, Louie Balo, Kerri Chandler, Jesse sanders, Terry Hunter, Mike Dunn… The list is endless!
