the original wasn't by canned heat... they cheekily ripped it off and claimed it as their own. the lyrics were actually written by beverly white in the 1920s and the tune has been derived from a song called 'bulldoze blues' - written by henry thomas in 1929. and if you don't like this you need to clear your ears out son! ;-)
