Soundman must have been on a break... such a shame when good bands are let down by inattentive, or just bad, sound techs.

Uneducated (in music ) audiences in Australia do the same. It drives me crazy.

I thought it was only the Brit's who were "clapped" out en-masse! I have actually seen top performers change from the on time to off time clap to make sure the audience enjoyed their show. Funny but the Americans are clapping correctly more often than not. More lubrication of the larynx needed - it doesn't help with timing but everyone remembers a good time.

These guys are really good and deserve a better sound man. The volume of the mikes and instruments are not balanced and I think really mess up the band's powerful sound. They deserve better
