I came upon your beautiful prayer tonight on the feast of Saint Faustina...this was the last hour of her earthly life 83 years ago. She passed into His mercy at 10:45 pm and am blessed to pray this in union with you October 5, 2021. Pray for us Saint Faustina and Pope Saint John Paul. May God Bless you Kitty. Hi Kitty, I am afan from way back, first met you at a Lighthouse Catholic Media Conference, and I fell in love with this song. When my Aunt Catherine was sick and dying, I wrote you and you gave me permission to sing it, and the piano sheet music, at her funeral.( Little did the 150 Baptists there know it was written and being sung by Catholics, ). It's permanently engraved in my brain. I had it played at my husband's funeral a year ago, Oct '21. You mentioned looking forward to our death being a wonderful thing, and I understand and made another connection. MEMENTO MORI. I started looking into this in our faith this year, thanks to Jonathan Roumie (Jesus, in The Chosen), and now I will include it in my devotions as well.
