The Genius Balanna. ಒಂದು ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಕಥೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಿರಿಯರಾದ ಬಾಲಣ್ಣ ಏಳುವುದು ತಡ ವಾಗುತಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಅವ್ರನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಎಚ್ಚಿರಸಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನಟ ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ನವರು ಎಚ್ಚರ ಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ, ಬಾಲಣ್ಣ ನವರು ಸಿಟ್ಟು ತಡಯದೆ ಕಪಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಿಟ್ಟಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ಇಡೀ ದಿನ ಬಾಲಣ್ಣರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಸಹಕಾರ ತೋರಿಸ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ಸ್ವತಃ ಬಾಲಣ್ಣ ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ನಿನ್ನ ಗಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಲಾಡ್ಜ್ ಗೆ ವಾಪಸ್ಸು ಬಿಡುತ್ತೀಯಾ ಅಂತ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ನವರು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಆಣ್ಣಾವ್ರು ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣನನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಬಾಲಣ್ಣರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೇಜಾರಿನಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಾ ಅಂದಾಗ , ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗಿನ ಘಟನೆ ವಿವರಿಸ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಣ್ಣಾವ್ರು ನಗುತ್ತಾ, ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಿದ್ದಾಗ ಗುಬ್ಬಿ ನಾಟಕಮಂಡಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಬಾಲಣ್ಣರಿಂದ ನನಗೂ ಬಹಳ ಸಲ ಕಪಾಲ ಮೋಕ್ಷ ವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಂದಸ್ಮಿತರಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಚಿಂತೆ ಬೇಡ ಅವರು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಒಡೆದ್ದಿದರೋ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲ ಇಂದು ಸಕಲ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದರಂತೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ಪುನಃ ದೊಡ್ಡಣ್ಣ ರನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಬಾಲಣ್ಣ ಸುಖಕ್ಕಿಂತ ದುಃಖ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂದ ನನಗೆ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಚಣೆ ಯಾದರೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಕೋಪಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ವಿಷಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸ್ತಾರೆ.

Bhagvan sir Thank u for telling abt ur journey. My father used to tell abt " Gubbi Viranaas drama company. & Used to tell abt d rich scenes & excellent acting abt actors He used to tell that Rajkumar's acting was nothing n cinema. We should c hs acting n dramas. It is hard to describe hs acting n drama My father was interested n dramas & classical music. He was a cashier n bank.he used to tell us many incidents. I would like to share one which I remember now, Once n drama Dr Rajkumar played "H.M.NAYAk" It seems tht Rajkumar & Uday Kumar were vry vry famous for tht role. Whn d drama was over audienc were n different world . D.C. was so much impressed by his personality & acting tht he decided to meet Raj. Whn D.C. & a grt Sahitee wnt. there & asked d person to call Rajkumar who was .near by but facing n opposite direction. The gatekeeper called but Rajkumar did not turn back. so being upset both were ready to return back thinking tht Raj had ego. but a co- artist who had acted n tht drama wth Raj stopped thm. He shouted H.M.Nayak suddenly Raj turned & these two guys saw tht Raj was still n th character. Later he b.came conscious whn co- artist shook him. After tht D.C. was moved by his simplicity. that Rajkumar including d whole drama team was invited to dinner by D.C.
