Within the first 2 min of the interview I could tell Randy is an extremely concise, honest and intelligent man. He is open about his history and himself and that in a way gives him a better understanding of life and reality, versus his brother who although may be more rich and famous, is very hidden/secretive about who he is. I wish Randy all the best, great guy.

Id like to hear both sides, or perhaps all three to include the sister. Coming from another deeply divided family of 5 siblings i can tell you that there are five stories, and each story sounds like its from a completely different family. Who is right or wrong, honest, dishonest or just a plain fantasist creates a knot of so many layers its almost impossible to unravel- especially so after the parents are gone. The story you hold in your head is through your own lens. Its like they say about witnesses of an accident, if there are ten of them you get ten different accounts of the one accident. Long ago stories of family events through the perspective of a child but recounted by the adult, itd be very hard for any of them to see the other siblings view, you can only really see and feel what the child in you was experiencing back then and thats hard enough decades down the line.

If I had a dime for every time I’ve been in the presence of this trick of mind, in people who keep insisting (over and over in every conversation) that they have ‘let go’ - oh ! “But I underSTAND it”. As if that was letting go. It’s at him all the time, and he’s filled with resentment - and sentimentality. ‘Sentimentality, the mask of violence ‘- William Blake. It actually is about finding forgiveness. We’re locked in a culture of information and intellectual ‘understanding’ -and we bank so much on these two imposters. And they can’t provide that much.

I guess each of these siblings has their side of the story and their own coping mechanisms that make them remember it the way they do and forget the parts they do. ...Anyways it teaches you one thing - parents, carers, NEVER say it is OK/normal/no family is perfect or other bullshit! Obviously that is how not only those siblings were treated but apparently their parents before them too - and if you tell /teach/repeat to them "IT IS OK" - well, they will start to believe it and here you have the results, do not act surprised.

@CryptoProphet6 жыл бұрын
I get it Laura. My story is similar. I tried for years to get it told, and almost had a production company make it as a movie at one point. Mine is a little more a slice of history as well but the family pain is the same. You are correct that the ones who tell the truth are the most hated of all. Although, I read somewhere a quote from Kevin Spacey saying that his Dad had sexually abused him, dressed up in Nazi costumes and all sorts of crazy stuff. So, I think Kevin just went to the dark side and that his life was not protected the way that Randy seems to think it was. For a long time I thought I had protected my younger siblings as well, but I don't think so anymore. Sometimes there is a child who isn't abused. In my family that would have been my older half-sister. I think the three of us all got it. Regardless, it is a sick family dynamic and everyone in it is effected. BTW - When I first saw Kevin Spacey on screen I was totally taken by surprise because he reminded me so much of my abusive father. He also would have been my choice (back then) to play the character. So, there you go.

To me, this guy is a hero - anyone who hasn't read about it - he got so depressed because of his dad's sexual abuse as a teen that he wanted to committ suicide, but what held him back is the thought "then he will take it out on my little brother so I won't do it". To me, that is a real hero.

I was Kevin's biggest fan until last year when I researched him and found out what kind of person he really was, this stuff was all over the web for years. Randy has been saying this for years, it's a shame people are only listening now cause a celebrity said it happened. All Randy ever wanted was to tell his story to help others. He's struggled so much and still has been involved in many charities. He's also been trying to publish his book but couldn't because Kevin and his lawyers wouldn't allow it. I love Randy cause he never used his brothers name to gain fame. And their father being a nazi loving child molester is old news. The fact that Kevin severed all ties with his family is very telling. Before this scandal came out, people assumed Kevin came out of this messed up situation as a successful love able guy and that's why he distanced himself. But obviously he didn't want his remaining family to discover who he really is. The fact that Randy still wants a relationship with Kevin just shows what an amazing guy Randy really is. That's why I said put Kevin Spacey's brother in brackets. Make it look like - Randall Fowler (Kevin Spacey's brother) gives interview

I totally agree with that and I shouldn't have had to go looking for his name

Kalan Darkclaw He’s a great guy. Very rare this kind of honesty and forgiveness. We need so many more people like him. His brother is a piece of shit.

He seems honest about it all... and cool... and to think Kevin wanted to sue him b/c he was writing about it... thats revealing about Kevin as well.

You say he's just a regular guy and I assumed by that you mean he was very down-to-earth and didn't think he was better than anybody else ... yet he seems to be such an extraordinary person ... so open and genuine ... maybe more open and genuine than the average person . Can you tell us anything about him that shows what an unique or wonderful person he was ?
