​​​​@@Kazuma1478spoiler: They do have a little of sex in the hotel, but in the middle of the action and before kissing Kiwi asked for Utena's true feelings, she didn't answer back because she got confused (didn't had her feelings clear), then they were interrupted and....well, I won't tell you too much but they had a fight and fix it being honest themselves. Utena said that she do like Kiwi and she's slowly falling in love with her, but she's complicated in the matter of feelings and asked pardon and understanding of it. Kiwi in the other hand accepted this and also focused on keeping trying to make Utena fall in love with her but even more seriously, this is because Kiwi's love for Utena is growing too and it's getting more like a mature love and interest for her as a person she really care as the time pass. Aside ecchi, I do like romance in this anime.

Nah, it's like trying to remove music and band related stuff from Bocchi The Rock and turn it into your typical slice of life or remove card game element from the Yugioh anime and try to make it work without Dueling.

"Remove the echhi and the series would still work." it wouldn't work. Here "ecchi" is the story, the plot, the strength that develops the characters, eliminating the ecchi here means eliminating everything that makes this anime/manga special. And more or less ecchi is necessary in every manga/anime, this is what differentiates it from the dying Western cartoons/animation, Because when someone censors a pantyshot for fear of reactions, it cannot tell powerful, true/sincere, universal stories, but only western crap. Good stories need freedom, not censors.
