I am originally from Mexico and had the opportunity to live in New Zealand under a Working Holiday visa. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure a sponsorship and had to return to my current residence in California. However, not a day goes by without me contemplating on how to return to New Zealand. I truly miss it there.

I was fortunate to have an interesting childhood. I was born in Canada to a Canadian mother and an English father. When I'd just turned 5, the family moved to Southern California. There we stayed until I'd just turned 15. The family uprooted and moved to the UK. We lived for a year in a small village in East Yorkshire. Then, not long after I turned 16, we .loved to Australia. That was in 1966. I live in Australia to this day, and am a naturalized Australian. I have been back to the USA and Canada several times over the years for visits, and I've loved catching up with relatives and friends, and visiting favourite places. But it's great getting on the plane back to Australia. I know I now belong in Australia.

Hi Tara! I'm new to your channel :) my husband & I visited New Zealand for the first time this year and enjoyed it much more than we expected. It really felt comfortable being there - it's a beautiful country, we loved the food, and the locals were kind. We know that no country is perfect, but we're considering moving there from the US. Both of us have masters degrees in IT-related fields. Ideally, we'd look for Green List Tier 1 level employment to sponsor a visa and apply for a residency visa afterwards. I guess we're stuck on starting the process of finding employers willing to sponsor us. I'm sure it will take lots of time and patience, but hoping we can find a good match in the near future. Thanks for your video. It was great to hear your experience!

Dear sir , I hope you have the required number of work periods in the US to collect US Social Security . When you take the NZ Citizenship you will pay the same taxes as every other NZ'er including those that pay for future Superannuation when you retire in NZ. In that interim you will be a slave , as you can NOT collect NZ Superannuation at retirement age ! NZ created a phony BS ACT of Parliament that IF you can collect a pension from another country you , MUST , take that which is then taken off of the NZ Superannuation. In simple terms you will not get ANY of the money you paid in over 20 years to the NZ Government Superannuation, you will be ROBBED ! The next part is you are expected to bring into NZ the money from the country you were from ,, yes to enhance the NZ Economy ! So your robbed TWICE ! As time goes on you will learn that NZ'ers don't like Americans , oh their nice to your face but never turn your back . And if your a Trump Supporter well maybe you'll get a visit from the police as 200 other NZ'ers did , just like I did and called a White racist and Supremacist which I'm NOT ! I'm part American Indian , for gosh sakes !

Welcome to our Communist country ! It should fit well into the same locations you use to live in when you were in the US . I've been in NZ since 1998 . Its turned into a crappy country just like Venezuela . The debt level is as bad as the US . Healthcare is a joke , if you need a surgery they'll put you on the calendar for some year in the future ,, well if your still alive . Hey did you tell them that gas is over $11 a gallon . Education system tell them the truth about the over 50% truancy and the numbers of parents that have taken their kids OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS ! I get so tired of your BS in the videos why can't you tell the TRUTH ?

@the762nato one morning my wife found me rolling sick on the floor, called ambulance & rushed to local hospital, x-rayed, MRI scanned, poked, prodded head to toe, doctors not too sure what’s up, after a week another ambulance rushed & to Wellington hospital, spent a month in hospital, major operation & lived happily to tell the tale Honestly, The nursing and medical staff were beyond wonderful, felt so privileged. The medical cost $30 . . . aah, for wife's parking. NZ is not perfect & costs might be high relatively speaking. We might have communists lurking along with capitalists here along with all other wonderful races of people. We need then all & more to lower costs & improve our skills. It takes all sorts living together, hopefully being kind & friendly to each other to make a happy country. Mostly we are safe, happy & free. We do have problems like other countries. Being kind & loving makes NZ a better place. Have a great 2024

@@leeengelsman1855 With over 25,000 attending and many more prevented from attending the protest at Parliament , the acts by the Speaker of Parliament to act illegally against the protesters and the Police use tactics of a 1930 German government over illegal mandates that clearly violated the Nuremberg code and the " SUPPOSED " civil rights that Truly do NOT exist in NZ . The NZ Supreme court cited in the Kiwi Party vs the Attorney General of NZ the 1689 law that Parliament is SUPREME and SOVEREIGN in its Acts it passes and that the Judiciary can NOT declare an act of Parliament illegal. This circumvents and chance for checks and balances of this country that does NOT have a CONSTITUTION ! In simple terms the enforcement of political issues by parliament, supercedes written law . As we say Tyranny of the leftist government for which this one is ALSO tainted as it equally participated in those illegal acts . This current government is allies with Bill Gates and the WHO and the WEF . We are not an independent country we are the puppet of the international corrupt cabal in the UN . @@ockiesimmonds9279 Let me explain how long it took people who were ready to get cancer treatment before the phony covid mandates of the country , then I can clearly show the numbers of increased deaths, as exposed by the good whistle blower who has exposed the EXCESS DEATHS in this country , who is NOW under bond to appear before the courts for his good deeds . Never mind about the issue of the propaganda media which Winston Peters stated and the confirming media personalities that also supported that issue . Now I don't know when you had the emergency , but #1 the ambulance is not government run its a PRIVATE CHARITY . Yes they will get you into emergency but getting the needed operations , is a different issue and that has a huge amount of variation , including as your aware that if your Maori you get FIRST on the list thanks to the last government which this government has not corrected to EQUAL for all treatment . I might ask if you tool the phony vaccine , as some of my friends in the medical circles refused and were FIRED for standing up to the illegal acts of this government thne this government claiming it can't perform many treatments and operations because ,, opps,, they don't have enough medical staff !
