Ugh that sounds like a frustrating experience. I really like the light box though, looks really good! I only have budget for 1 subscription. Would you recommend I stick with Lovevery for 2-3 years old or switch to Kiwico? I wish Lovevery would ship every 2 months

Personally, If I only had the budget for 1 I would go with Lovevery. My son plays with those toys more, he likes the real people books more, they last longer, they are more developmentally appropriate, and in the end it is cheaper for a year of Lovevery (cheaper for Kiwi if you get the basic crate, but I get deluxe). It really is up to you. I will tell you the plastic shapes that came with the light box are already chipping after a few days, and if you watched the video, you know about the cord. I know it sounds like I hate Kiwico, but I really do love those toys too. It really depends on your child, what they would play with, and what your budget looks like. But if I could only pick 1, like I said, I would do Lovevery. You could always take a look at which specific crates you want and order those and cancel the rest of the subscription. That way you get the best of both worlds, but it is a little more work on your part.

Another thing I wanted to add. If you did just really really want the lightbox, don't just buy it separately. Just the light box is $80 and not worth that. To get the plus crate with the 3 regular toys and the light box is $80. To get all toys with a book is $90. If I just really wanted that light box, I would order a subscription paying 1 box at a time and after I got the box cancel the subscription. I wish you could just by 1 box with no subscription, but as far as I have seen you can't.

@@thismomthing I am from Canada. I also hate that Kiwico makes us pay for any duty... unlike Lovevery who will always pay for shipping & duty. Thanks for your honest opinion! Bummer that the plastic pieces are chipping already. Hopefully you can contact them and have them replaced (I know Lovevery would). I just gave my toddler the wheel bus from the Lovevery kit and she's obsessed. :)

@@rickyc859 Aryi is obsessed with that too. He loves to sing wheels on the bus when he plays.
